Our history: from the beginning to today
What really sets the Scrap'Air range apart is our ongoing commitment to improving working conditions for operators, while optimising the performance of our tools.
Over 40 years ago, Marc Bidaux, the company's founder, had a clear vision: to revolutionise paint stripping tools by focusing on ergonomics and efficiency. He designed the first ergonomic paint stripper, a tool that not only simplified work, but also protected users' health. That was the start of our adventure, marked by the filing of the first patent for a high-percussion system, specifically designed for stripping walls and floors.
True to this spirit of innovation, Scrap'Air has continually improved its products over the years. Under the leadership of Olivier Bidaux, the current CEO, the company has introduced significant advances in ergonomics and vibration reduction, ensuring optimum comfort for users and reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
Today, Scrap'Air is proud to design and manufacture all its scrapers exclusively in France. We maintain a high level of quality, ensuring the reliability of our products, even in the most extreme working conditions and for intensive use. This relentless pursuit of excellence has enabled us to become a leader in the paint stripping sector, recognised by construction and industry professionals around the world.
